CPAs, like all providers of personal financial services, have policies regarding privacy of client information. CPAs have been and continue to be bound by professional standards of confidentiality that are even more stringent than those required by law.  Therefore, we always protect your right to privacy.

For current and former clients, we do not disclose any nonpublic personal information obtained in the course of our practice except as required or permitted by law.  Permitted disclosure includes providing information to our employees. In limited situations, this includes unrelated third parties who need to know that information to assist us in providing services to you.  We stress the confidential nature of information being shared.

All email contacts with CrawfordEllenbogen LLC are considered confidential; however, to the extent that even “secure” Internet transmissions may be subject to unauthorized interception, we discourage unsecured email communication of sensitive, proprietary or potentially-actionable information including Taxpayer or Corporate Identification Numbers, Social Security Numbers, Bank Account or Credit Card details, descriptions of pending litigation, internal business planning documents and forecasts, forward-looking statements, etc.
